Dress Code – Board Policy 5511
Students are expected to come to school with proper attention having been given to personal cleanliness, grooming, and neatness of dress. Students whose personal attire or grooming distracts the attention of other students or teachers from their school work shall be required to make the necessary alterations to such attire or grooming before entering the classroom or be sent home by the principal to be properly prepared for school. Students who fail to meet the minimum acceptable standards of cleanliness and neatness as determined by the principal and as specified in this policy shall be subject to appropriate disciplinary measures.
Robert Renick Educational Center School is a mandatory uniform school as voted by the parents. Progressive disciplinary actions will be taken for those students who fail to comply with the uniform dress code.

Shirts
“Polo” style shirts that are black, white, or gold only.
Pants
Black or Khaki in an appropriate style.
Pants must be worn appropriately at the waist.
Jeans, leggings, jeggings, shorts, skirts, sweatpants, joggers, yoga style pants, and/or spandex, are not permitted.
Shoes
Closed shoes are mandatory.
Slippers, bedroom shoes, Crocs, sandals, flip flops, open toe shoes, and soft sole shoes are not permitted.
Jackets/Sweaters
Jackets/Sweater must be plain black only, no logos, lettering or markings.
Students are not permitted to wear anything over their head.
Jackets/Sweaters may not have hoodies.
Clear Backpacks
In order to maintain a safe and orderly environment and to deter and minimize violations of the Code of Student Conduct ONLY clear backpacks are permitted.
Electronics
In order to maintain a safe and orderly environment and to deter and minimize violations of the Code of student Conduct ALL electronics to included but not limited to: cellphones, air pods, tablets, microphones, will be collected upon arrival and retuned at dismissal.

Código de Vestimenta – Política de la Junta Escolar 5511
Se espera que los estudiantes asistan a la escuela prestando la debida atención a su higiene personal, aseo y presentación personal. Los estudiantes cuya vestimenta o arreglo personal distraiga la atención de otros estudiantes o maestros de sus labores escolares deberán realizar los cambios necesarios en su vestimenta o arreglo personal antes de ingresar al salón de clases, o serán enviados a casa por el director para que regresen debidamente preparados para asistir a la escuela. Los estudiantes que no cumplan con los estándares mínimos aceptables de limpieza y presentación, según lo determine el director y conforme a lo especificado en esta política, estarán sujetos a las medidas disciplinarias correspondientes.
La Escuela Robert Renick Educational Center es una escuela con uso obligatorio de uniforme, según lo aprobado por los padres. Se aplicarán medidas disciplinarias progresivas a los estudiantes que no cumplan con el código de vestimenta del uniforme.

Camisas
- Camisas tipo polo únicamente de color negro, blanco o dorado.
Pantalones
- De color negro o caqui (khaki) y de un estilo apropiado.
- Los pantalones deben usarse correctamente, a la altura de la cintura.
- No se permiten jeans, leggings, jeggings, pantalones cortos (shorts), faldas, pantalones deportivos (sweatpants), joggers, pantalones estilo yoga ni prendas de spandex.
Zapatos
- Es obligatorio usar zapatos cerrados.
- No se permiten pantuflas, zapatos de dormitorio, Crocs, sandalias, chanclas (flip-flops), zapatos de punta abierta ni zapatos de suela blanda.
Chaquetas/Suéteres
- Las chaquetas o suéteres deben ser únicamente de color negro liso, sin logotipos, letras ni diseños.
- Los estudiantes no pueden usar prendas que cubran la cabeza.
- Las chaquetas o suéteres no pueden tener capucha.
Mochilas Transparentes
Con el fin de mantener un ambiente seguro y ordenado, así como prevenir y reducir las infracciones al Código de Conducta del Estudiante, solo se permiten mochilas transparentes.
Dispositivos Electrónicos
Con el fin de mantener un ambiente seguro y ordenado, así como prevenir y reducir las infracciones al Código de Conducta del Estudiante, todos los dispositivos electrónicos, incluidos, entre otros, teléfonos celulares, AirPods, tabletas y micrófonos, serán recogidos al momento de la llegada del estudiante y devueltos al finalizar la jornada escolar.
